Scout Radio Activities Group

The Scout Radio Activities Group (SRAG) is a group of amateur radio enthusiasts who provide radio communications for outdoor adventurous activities helping to improve the security and smooth running of these events.

The SRAG team also introduces radio communications to youth and adult members of the Scout Association.

Although our main function is to provide radio communications for Scouting events within South Australia, we also provide communications for events such as the Murray 200/100 canoe marathon.

We are also responsible for co-ordination of the annual  Jamboree On The Air (JOTA) and Jamboree On The Internet (JOTI) in South Australia.

We usually meet on the first Friday evening of the month. Visitors and prospective members are always welcome. Contact John Richardson for details.

If you think that we might be able to help you with communications for your event, please contact the Branch Commissioner for Radio Activities.

Please feel free to roam our site and see what the radio team has to offer.
